1. Accepting these terms

By accessing or using ScholarPath PH, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and Website Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the website. If you are not legally able to accept these terms on your own, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you.

2. What ScholarPath PH provides

ScholarPath PH is an independent educational information directory that helps students discover scholarships and reach official provider pages. It does not award scholarships, decide eligibility, submit applications, collect application documents, represent listed providers, or guarantee acceptance or funding.

3. Scholarship information and verification

We aim to make listings helpful and current, but scholarship details can change without notice. Before relying on a listing, you must verify its deadline, eligibility rules, benefits, required documents, submission process, and contact details with the official scholarship provider. A match, checklist, category, or search result is informational and is not a professional assessment of your eligibility.

4. Accounts and login

You may browse public scholarship information without an account. Saving scholarships, viewing personal notifications, managing a profile, receiving personalized recommendations, and sending support messages require login through email, Google, or Facebook. You agree to provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and login links, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

Google, Meta, and Supabase provide parts of the authentication process under their own terms. ScholarPath PH does not receive your Google or Facebook password. We may restrict or disable access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, or enforce these terms.

5. Personalized recommendations, saves, and notifications

Recommendations use available profile preferences and scholarship fields. They do not establish eligibility, acceptance, or entitlement to an award. Saved scholarships are bookmarks, not submitted or tracked applications.

Notifications and deadline reminders are informational. Delivery may be delayed, unavailable, or affected by device and account settings. You remain responsible for checking current dates and requirements with the official provider.

6. Acceptable use

You may use ScholarPath PH for lawful personal, educational, and scholarship-discovery purposes. You must not:

• impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or access an account without permission;
• send spam, threats, harassment, fraudulent requests, malicious code, or unlawful content;
• submit passwords, one-time codes, financial credentials, sensitive identity records, or scholarship application documents through the inquiry feature;
• interfere with the website, bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, or overload its services;
• copy, scrape, republish, sell, or commercially exploit substantial parts of the website without written permission or a lawful exception; or
• use ScholarPath PH in a way that infringes another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights.

7. Support messages and attachments

You remain responsible for messages and optional support attachments you submit. You give ScholarPath PH limited permission to store, review, reproduce, and use that content only to respond, operate support, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.

Support attachments are not a scholarship application channel. Do not upload application packets, government identification, banking details, medical records, passwords, or content you do not have the right to share.

8. Official providers and external services

Links marked for official applications or provider information take you to websites that ScholarPath PH does not control. Your interaction or application is directly between you and the third party. We are not responsible for a third party’s content, availability, security, fees, decisions, terms, or privacy practices. A link or logo does not by itself mean that ScholarPath PH is endorsed by or partnered with that organization.

9. Intellectual property

The ScholarPath PH name, original website design, code, written explanations, and original visual materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the website for its intended personal and educational purpose. Organization names, scholarship names, logos, photographs, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification or informational purposes.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information the website collects, how it is used, the service providers involved, and how to make a privacy request. By using account or inquiry features, you understand that information will be processed as described there.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We may correct listings, add or remove features, change links, perform maintenance, or suspend parts of ScholarPath PH at any time. We do not promise that the website, any account, a particular listing, or an external link will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of responsibility

ScholarPath PH is provided on an “as available” basis for general educational information. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ScholarPath PH and its creators disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for missed deadlines, unsuccessful applications, scholarship-provider decisions, reliance on inaccurate or outdated information, third-party conduct, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website.

Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. Additional details appear in the Website Disclaimer.

13. Ending use or access

You may stop using ScholarPath PH at any time. You may request account or personal-information deletion as explained in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access to protected features when an account violates these terms, creates a security risk, harms another person, or must be restricted by law. Provisions covering intellectual property, disclaimers, and responsibility remain effective after access ends.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the website, legal requirements, or service providers change. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes may also be announced on the website. Continuing to use ScholarPath PH after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.

15. Governing law and severability

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without removing any protection that applicable law gives you. If a court or authorized body finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
