Scholarship description
The Tzu Chi Foundation Scholarship 2026 is now open for college students who need financial assistance for Academic Year 2026-2027.
The scholarship is part of the Educational Assistance Program of the Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines, a humanitarian organization that supports students from low-income families. It provides financial assistance to help students continue their education and also promotes volunteerism, discipline, and personal development among scholars.
Who can apply
Eligibility
- Reside in Ormoc or nearby areas
- Pass school entrance examination
- Be enrolled/intending to enroll in approved institutions
- SHS graduate (for college) or ALS passer
- Belong to low-income family
- Maintain satisfactory academic record
- Be free from vices
- Demonstrate good moral character, Free from any vices
- Willing to adhere and participate in Tzu Chi activities

- Accomplished Tzu Chi Ormoc EAP Application Form
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate
- Proof of school entrance exam, or admission & enrollment
- Barangay Certificate of Indigency
- Two (2) pieces 1x1 ID photo with white background, not pixelated
- Latest Report Card or Transcript of Records
- Detailed Sketch Map direction to applicant residence from Tzu Chi
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Personal essay describing background, aspirations, and reason for applying (minimum 200 words English
