About this opportunity
Scholarship description
The Iskolar ng LANDBANK Program is an undergraduate scholarship program of the Land Bank of the Philippines, jointly managed with the LANDBANK Countryside Development Foundation, Inc.
The program was launched on February 14, 2023 to help poor but deserving students pursue college education and eventually contribute to the development of their families, communities, and the country.
The program particularly focuses on qualified children and grandchildren of agrarian reform beneficiaries, small farmers, and fishers.
LANDBANK plans to support 60 new scholars each year beginning in 2023 and continuing through 2028.
Successful scholars receive an annual grant of PHP 100,000, less applicable taxes, which may be used for allowances, books, clothing, uniforms, shoes, and other academic course requirements.
The program also provides opportunities beyond financial assistance. Scholars may be offered on-the-job training at LANDBANK branches, lending centers, partner agencies, and institutions. Graduates may also receive employment preference from LANDBANK.
LANDBANK reported that 120 scholars had been onboarded by the end of 2024. As of September 30, 2025, the program had 109 active scholars.
The program is administered by the LANDBANK Countryside Development Foundation, Inc., which coordinates with participating universities and program scholars.
